In 2006, our current managing director, Mr. Hailu, created M.Y Alpha general trading plc, to deal with the constraints he faced in the construction industry. During his construction projects, he faced problems such as the shortage of raw materials, poor quality of items, lack of alternative products, and late delivery of items from suppliers. Understanding that other construction firms faced the same problems, Mr. Hailu started importing the building materials first for his own projects and then started to supply other private and government organizations.
Since then, Mr. Hailu has built a name and following by providing innovative solutions to customers’ problems, agricultural, industrial machines, electrical appliances and accessories, spare parts, and building construction materials in Ethiopia. Today, this rich legacy continues as we strive every day to import and introduce exciting new products and services that deliver the ultimate in performance, productivity, and convenience customers expect from M.Y.
